Micro--Uh--Technical Difficulties...

We interrupt our regularly scheduled interruption...

I have the last five microstics written up and ready to go, but there’s a problem.

When it’s time to produce a new microstic, I put the next puzzle in an interactive format and upload it to the site. But the online program I’ve been relying upon for that is having an issue I can’t diagnose. Every time I try to save it in that format today, I get this error:

I know there have been some online outages and some modification of these tools lately, either or both of which could be related to this problem. I don’t think it’s me: I’ve tested an alternate puzzle with the same result. I’ve jumped through a lot of hoops trying to fix the issue and some more trying to find a viable substitute, but at this point, I’m coming up dry and have to turn my focus elsewhere for today.

I’ll be talking with a couple of people about this situation and making sure the puzzles can run weekly after this interruption. If things go great, I might have the next microstic ready by Friday. But today, all I can offer are my regrets!
