Today is a primary election in Virginia. Janice and I got out there early.
The party whose primary I vote in is usually not the party that I will choose to vote for in November. My March vote tends to be more a vote-against than a vote-for. This results in my getting a lot of mail from causes and candidates that I'd never support. But I feel like that's worth it.
(That's one reason I don't worry too much about targeted advertising. After all these years, they still don't seem to have profiled me very well.)
I usually help out with the election too, and I'm making a promise to be back behind the table for the June and November ones. Still, I know a few of the guys working the polls, so I can say our area is in good hands today. Keep up the great work, guys! Miss ya.
Haley, I assume.
Voted early by mail!! Keep up your good work! Democracy needs you!
