Test (Solve), Test (Solve)...

Plus a bit of fun.

I’m drafting a crossword and would like a test-solve from comics readers! Some familiarity with superhero trivia is needed to get the meta answer—a moderate amount, I think. (One thing I’m evaluating is whether there should even be a meta answer.) Contact me if that seems like it’s up your alley, and I’ll send you the URL.

In the meantime, I thought the rest of you might be entertained by this kinetic-typography video, which brings to life a semi-literate review of an early online role-playing game. It’s one of my old favorites. It really captures the comical side of online feedback, though you might need a few viewings to understand what the original reviewer was talking about.

The animated lettering is delightful throughout, but I think my favorite part is the narrator’s commitment to pronouncing every typo in the source material.

Tomorrow: Either I’ll have a version of the puzzle to share, or I’ll have some notes about what I’m retooling, or I’ll dissect why it didn’t work. Any of those options should yield some interest, at least!
