Well, it’s here (meaning: it’s at ubercross.com)! The final chapter in the most ambitious single puzzle project that I’ve ever done (and probably will ever do). And I feel pretty good about this one! I don’t think I could’ve picked a better theme to wrap this all up.
So what comes next?
Next week, amid a fairly quiet schedule of updates, I’ll release the Ubercross Abecedaria collected, which is mostly just the joined-up version of the 25 parts, with tweaks if the need for such emerges.
Next year, I’ll be continuing the tradition of Wednesday releases with something I call micropuzzles, puzzles so small that even most mini features would look at them and say “What, really?” They’re about as far in the opposite direction from the Ubercross Abecedaria as I can go, but I think that’ll be fun…
…and doing it like this will allow me to finish some other stuff I’ve been working on behind the scenes, hoping to share. I don’t even know everything I’ll be putting out in the year to come yet, but I’m planning to make it a productive one.
One thing I do know, though: on January 1, as per usual, I’ll have “The Year In Crosswords” ready for everyone’s perusal, here and on Medium. So look for that!
Tomorrow: Number names.
