I’m afraid that hard as I went on the nested-book piece from yesterday, I did make a mistake by releasing my data as a CSV initially. That format will load faster on some systems, but it doesn’t include the Excel formulas that some of you might want to copy to run your own experiments.
So here’s the old CSV and here’s the Excel document. I applied the same formulas to my big list of 44,000+ films and got some interesting results, though my laptop ran pretty hot for an hour or so to get it done. Here’s a small sampling:
Old in Goldmember
Rent in The Parent Trap
Alien in How to Lose Friends and Alienate People
It in Pitch Perfect
Ma in Iron Man in Tetsuo: The Iron Man
The Whale in The Squid and the Whale
Her in The Godfather
Us in The Fast and the Furious
Big in Big Hero 6
Cinderella in Cinderella Man
That’s all I got for you today. Enjoy your Easter if you celebrate, and if you don’t…see if you can watch some kids who do. It’ll be a good time.
