Progress Report

Still dancing too close to the wire.

So, we’ve put one-third of the year behind us, and I’m just barely over one-third done with the clues for the Ubercross Abecedaria. Specifically, I’ve hit 42,000 clues out of 116,416, 35.22% of the total. Last time, I said I’d only breathe easy if I at least got through K by the end of the month…and, well, I’m working on K now.

Other stuff keeps gettin’ in the way, including Substack updates, work on the Journal, a couple writing projects percolating, some important family time, and…a renewed binge-watch of My Hero Academia, which I’d say is overall the best superhero story in the history of the genre. Hey, one cannot live entirely by wordplay alone.

Still, I’m hanging on to the schedule. And I hold onto hope that this will be the month I manage to get a little further ahead. Getting through M would be a good goal: N is one of the more challenging installments to clue.

On the bright side…I have got the smaller puzzles done through lowercase m. And another one of those drops tomorrow!
