How far along am I on the Ubercross Abecedar? Well, good news and bad news, there.
Last month, I said the goal for this month was N, O, and P. I missed that, getting only N and O. The good news is that at least my buffer of completed clues isn’t any worse than it was this time last month. I’m at 65,602 clues finished out of 116,415, which puts me at 56.4% complete.
Last month involved more outside work than I anticipated, and as I said then, the N-P puzzles are a little extra challenging to clue by their nature. In fact, I spent about three-and-a-half hours yesterday correcting one misspelling in a “load-bearing” entry and everything else that depended on it. All should work fine now, I hope.
By the same token, the Q-T puzzles should be easier clue jobs (relatively speaking), so I’m going to hope anew that I can pull off three grids’ worth of clues this month. As long as I can get a little more buffer going before getting to U, this project should be survivable!
“Should!”
